Principal
Mrs. Kary Davis
It is such an honor to be a part of the Bobcat Family! There is no greater reward than serving the students, staff and community of Jordahl. Together, with Ms. Dickey, our assistant principal, and Ms. Meggan Mears as our Dean of Students, we are looking forward to collaborating with the parents and our community to cultivate successful students.
Personally, this is my twenty-third year in education. I was a middle school teacher, elementary teacher, art teacher, instructional coach and assistant principal before arriving at Jordahl. I grew up in Wyoming, attended to my undergraduate degree in South Dakota, and completed my Master’s degree right here in Colorado. Education has always been at the center of my life and career. When I am not serving the Jordahl community, I enjoy skiing, golfing, shooting at the range, mountain biking, traveling, and camping with my husband and three kids. You will often find me in the local yoga studio, CrossFit gym, and indoor cycling classes as well.
As Principal, it is important to me to be a resource to all Jordahl community members. My commitment to your child/children is to ensure a positive and safe learning environment. Equally, I am committed to ensuring that we offer a top-notch educational experience. We are a Bobcat Family!

Assistant Principal
Miss Kalyn Dickey
It is an honor to be part of such an amazing, supportive community here at Jordahl Elementary. I consider it a privilege to serve the Bobcat families and their students. I am looking forward to working collaboratively with all the staff here at Jordahl to support all students in their educational career.
I have been an educator since 2014. Previously, I was a classroom teacher in a neighboring school district. Additionally, I was an Instructional Coach and Title 1 coordinator. I am a Colorado native and grew up in Northern Colorado. I went to school in Wyoming but finished my degree in Elementary Education in Greeley at the University of Northern Colorado. I also finished my Master’s Degree here in Colorado. I am very involved in Colorado Odyssey of the Mind and have been on the Leadership Team for 10 years. I hold this organization very close to my heart. Spending time with my family and friends fills my bucket and keeps me going on a regular basis. I am also on a kickball team and recently joined a bowling league.
I am very excited to see what this year has to offer and the relationships that will be formed. Let’s go Bobcats!

Dean of Students
Miss Meggan Mears
Hello Bobcat Nation! My name is Meggan Mears and I am the Dean of Students at Jordahl Elementary. I basically consider myself a Colorado Native because my family moved from California when I was one year old. I grew up in Woodland Park, Colorado and loved the experience of living in a mountain town with all of the beautiful nature surrounding me at all times. I was a track athlete and there is nothing like running in the mountains! It is a beautiful place to come from. From there, I went to Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado (GO RAMS!) and graduated with my B.A. in English Education.
I originally began my teaching journey as a middle school ELA teacher, and then jumped at the opportunity to learn, grow, and push out of my comfort zone and became the Instructional Coach at Jordahl last year. I fell in love with elementary school, and became the Dean this year. I am so lucky and thankful to work with the amazing community of families, staff, and the incredible students at Jordahl. Education is my passion, and I love being in a community that values it so deeply. My dogs and my family are my other passion! I have 4 dogs, an incredibly supportive, big, Italian family and an amazing significant other to walk through my journey with. I am truly blessed for all of the amazing people in my life, and very blessed and proud to be a Bobcat!
