Student Voice
FFC8's ultimate goal is to prepare today's youth for tomorrow's responsibilities. In order to do this, the school must listen to and provide opportunities for students to express how they feel about their school. The charts below represent student responses to questions about safety, academics, culture, and connection. This survey is administered twice a year. The most recent results are displayed below.

Jordahl Elementary School addresses needs in the area of school climate using the following strategies:
- Jordahl teachers use the Responsive Classroom Morning Meeting model in every classroom for 30 minutes so that students can build community with classmates and teachers.
- Students are explicitly taught all of the Colorado Essential Skills, have the opportunity to practice them, and self-assess their progress of the skills.
- Teachers provide students a climate survey at the beginning of the year and address areas of need by setting goals and following through with an action plan.
